MikroTik CRS328-24P-4SRM 24-Port Switch Overview

The CRS328-24P-4S+RM is a versatile 28-port switch designed for high-performance networking. It includes 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with flexible power options: Passive PoE, low voltage PoE, and 802.3af/at (Type 1 “PoE” / Type 2 “PoE+”) with auto-sensing. Also the PoE-Out is delivered through mode B pins (4,5+)(7,8-). Additionally, the four SFP+ ports provide up to 10 Gbps connectivity using either optical fiber or Ethernet modules, ensuring fast and reliable network performance.

This switch comes in a 1U rackmount case and includes a built-in 100-240 V AC, 500 W power supply. While it uses up to 44 W of power, it still leaves 450 W available to power your PoE devices. Moreover, each port can deliver up to 30 W, depending on the chosen power option, allowing you to easily connect and power multiple devices. This setup lets you easily connect and power multiple devices at the same time.

The CRS328-24P-4S+RM comes with Dual Boot, so you can choose between RouterOS or SwOS. If you want a simple, switch-focused interface, use SwOS. However, if you need advanced routing and Layer 3 features, select RouterOS. You can also switch between these operating systems easily from RouterOS, SwOS, or the RouterBOOT loader.
