Product Features:
The device has no switch-chip, so each Ethernet port connects directly to the CPU. This removes the previous 1Gbit shared limitation and allows full CPU performance on each port.
It includes a combo-port, a single 1Gbit software interface with two hardware options: an SFP cage and a Gigabit Ethernet port. You can use either connection type and switch between them in RouterOS. In case of a disconnect, the combo-port provides hardware fail-over.
The CCR1009 supports 100Mbps SFP modules, including 100BASE-LX, 100BASE-SX, 100BASE-BX, and standard 1.25G SFP modules.
With ports connected directly to the CPU, the router achieves higher throughput.
The unit uses a passive cooling enclosure, two heat pipes, and a specially designed heat sink, making it completely silent. It runs on an external 24V 2.5A AC/DC adapter and supports power redundancy when powered via the PoE input port.
